PRP Therapy

Description of Treatment

PRP stem cell rejuvenation therapy is a revolutionary method in which the doctor uses a minimal amount of your own blood to rejuvenate the skin. Key cells and proteins that are found in the blood are taken and re-injected into the skin, which helps to restore skin and subcutaneous tissue.

Target group

You are an ideal candidate for PRP stem cell rejuvenation therapy if you want to achieve one of the following results:

  • Smoothness, freshness, elasticity and rejuvenation of face, neck and necline skin;
  • Improving the wrinkles around the eyes;
  • Reduction of nasolabial wrinkles;
  • Reduction of the wrinkles of the smile lines;
  • Acne scar reduction;
  • Reduction of wrinkles around the mouth;
  • Skin rejuvenation on hands and other body parts;
  • Stimulating hair growth on the scalp.

PRP therapy is not recommended to people who have:

  • A medical problem that can be exacerbated by the use of injections like active infection
  • Blood disorders
  • Unstable blood pressure
  • Malignancies
  • Anticoagulation therapy
  • Systemic corticosteroid therapies
  • Anemia
  • Pregnancy.

Preparation

Because the treatment involves your own blood, there are several things to consider before treatment:

  • Do not take corticosteroids two to three weeks before treatment.
  • Do not take Aspirin, Ibuprofen and similar non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs one week before treatment and avoid blood thinner medications 5 days before treatment.
  • Drink plenty of fluids the day before treatment.
  • Before the treatment itself, specialists will, by standard procedure, extract 5 ml of your blood.
  • After that, the doctor will separate the plasma from other constituents of your blood by a special technique using a high-speed centrifuge.

Recovery

Immediately after the treatment, redness, swelling and minimal pain in the treated area may occur, which usually disappears in a few hours, and completely in a few days.

Most clients return to their usual activities immediately after treatment.

Already in the next few weeks after treatment, there is a general improvement in skin moisture, texture and skin tone.

After three to six weeks, the development of new collagen and blood vessels begins, and in the next three to six months, the unwanted lines and wrinkles disappear.

FAQ

Is the treatment painful?
Generally PRP treatment is painless, but it also depends on the area in which it is applied. Needle sticks can be uncomfortable, but for this reason, anesthetic cream is applied to the area before applying it to make the application as painless as possible.

How many regions can I treat with one treatment? Which regions?
During one treatment, assuming that one tube of blood is obtained from which 4 ml of the preparation is obtained, one region is treated – neck, face, hands or neckline.
